Art's Story
Foundation Laid
Art’s passion for generosity and stewardship began in his youth on a dairy farm, where his parents instilled values of community service. They actively participated in school and church committees, supported the local foodbank, provided refuge to those in need, and mentored young families. Inspired by their example, Art embraced a path of selflessness from an early age.
Generosity Lived
Building a career as an accountant and starting a family didn’t deter Art from community leadership. He assumed roles as a deacon, elder, sports coach, and engaged member of various committees and organizations. His dedication extended internationally, where he broadened his perspective on global stewardship and community building.
Worldview Expanded
Art’s worldview evolved significantly through international volunteerism, witnessing stark contrasts between wealth and poverty worldwide. Pursuing a doctoral degree in Transformational Leadership at Bakke Graduate University further enriched his understanding. His research focused on fostering collaboration among businesses, governments, educational institutions, nonprofits, and faith-based organizations to tackle societal challenges.
